At explora, we actively seek disconnection from everyday routine, which is why our rooms are not equipped with televisions or Wi-Fi, which is only available in the hotel’s spacious common areas, which have nice décor touches with volcanic rock accents.
In the restaurant, dishes have been designed to enable guests to perform various explorations and still feel light, agile, and healthy. Lunch and dinner are always accompanied by a superb Chilean wine. A menu of selected premium wines for those that would like to try other alternatives is also available. Try the delicious Cebiche Polinesico with coconut sauce.
Explora Rapa Nui features over 20 excursions at different activity levels, from half day to full day in length. In general, all excursions have strong cultural, natural history and archaeological emphasis, and are led by an expert bilingual native guides. The Lodge counts with up to 12 main guides during high season.
Located inside our complex is an outdoor pool deck, complemented by a jacuzzi, sauna and massage area, all perfect for recovering from the wear and tear of a long day of exploration.
The Explorer’s Bar is the meeting place of our guides for planning explorations. Stocked with liquor and Chilean wines, the bar is frequently the gathering point of returning groups at nightfall.
